The Lagos State Governor has chaired the 4th Council Meeting of the Lagos International Financial Centre (LIFC) at Lagos House, Ikeja, alongside his co-chair, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imokhuede.

The Lagos International Financial Centre is a strategic collaboration between the Lagos State Government and EnterpriseNGR, supported by private sector stakeholders, aimed at positioning Lagos as a leading financial hub in Africa.

Since its inception in 2023, the initiative has recorded notable milestones, driven by sustained engagement between public and private sector partners working towards global best practices.

The LIFC is designed to attract international investors, multinational corporations, and top-tier financial institutions by offering world-class infrastructure, streamlined regulations, and access to Africa’s largest consumer market.

The Governor reiterated that the initiative will deepen domestic capital markets, attract foreign direct investment, enhance access to long-term finance, and support economic diversification for the benefit of Lagosians.
