Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, attended the inauguration of the Local Government Coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, describing the initiative as a strategic move to deepen grassroots engagement across the state. The event brought together committed men and women tasked with promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda at the community level

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors movement was established to take the message of the President’s policies directly to neighbourhoods across Lagos. The initiative aims to ensure that residents clearly understand government programmes, the progress being recorded, and how national reforms impact their daily lives.
Governor Sanwo-Olu acknowledged that many citizens are busy and some remain skeptical about government policies. He emphasised that the movement is designed not only to communicate but also to listen, engage sincerely, and address concerns directly within communities.
As part of his support for the initiative, the Governor donated buses to each of the 20 newly inaugurated Local Government Ambassadors, representing all councils in Lagos State. The gesture is expected to enhance mobility and facilitate effective outreach activities.

Reaffirming Lagos State’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, Sanwo-Olu noted that the state will continue to strengthen trust, maintain open dialogue, and ensure consistent engagement with residents at all levels.
