Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has commended the Lagos Boy Child Initiative (LBCI) for its transformative impact over the past four years, describing it as a life-changing platform shaping responsible and purpose-driven young men.

The Governor made the remarks during a visit to the 2026 LBCI Residential Camp, noting that the programme offers rare exposure opportunities not commonly available to many youths, including educational tours to key security formations.
He highlighted the importance of the boys’ interaction with officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces and exposure to military facilities, describing such experiences as privileges that come with responsibility.
Governor Sanwo-Olu urged the participants to become role models and ambassadors of the initiative, encouraging them to leverage social media responsibly for learning and positive engagement.

The First Lady, Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, expressed appreciation for the Governor’s support, reaffirming the programme’s objective of nurturing disciplined, responsible, and impactful young men.
