Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Unveils Plan for Transitional Government

Reza Pahlavi, the exiled Iranian crown prince and political activist, has revealed a framework aimed at maintaining governance in the event that Iran’s current Islamic Republic collapses.
In a statement shared on his official social media account on Saturday, Pahlavi said preparations had been ongoing for months to establish a transitional governing structure capable of managing the country during a potential political shift. The initiative, he explained, involves drafting a clear governance roadmap while identifying experienced individuals who could serve in key roles within the temporary system.
According to him, the plan is part of a broader effort to stabilise Iran after a possible regime change. A selection committee has been tasked with reviewing and appointing qualified professionals to help run different sectors of government during the transition period.
The committee, reportedly led by economist Saeed Ghaseminejad, has evaluated candidates from both inside Iran and among Iranians living abroad who may contribute their expertise to rebuilding national institutions.
Pahlavi said the proposed transitional administration, under his leadership, would be prepared to assume responsibility as soon as the current system falls. Its goals, he added, would include restoring public order, ensuring national security, safeguarding freedoms, and creating conditions for economic and social recovery.
The exiled opposition figure has long advocated democratic reforms, respect for human rights, and political change in Iran. Living in the United States, he frequently calls for a peaceful transition of power and a democratic future for the country.
His latest announcement comes at a time of continued political tension and periodic protests that have challenged Iran’s leadership in recent years.
Pahlavi concluded his message by expressing hope for a prosperous and stable future for Iran.
