Education District III has commissioned three newly renovated science laboratories at Wahab Folawiyo Senior High School, Osborne, Ikoyi, in a move to strengthen STEM education in Lagos State.

The Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary of the District, Mr. Olusegun Olawale Osinaike, officially inaugurated the facilities, describing the project as a significant boost to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Plus Agenda on education and technology.
The renovation was executed by Ernst & Young (EY) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, reflecting a sustained partnership between the private sector and the Lagos State education system.
EY West Africa’s Director of Human Resources, Ms. Jane Onobhayedo, urged the school to maintain the facilities, noting that responsible use would influence future interventions by the firm.

Students welcomed the development, describing the laboratories as a major improvement that would transform science learning from theory to hands-on practical experience.
