The First Lady of Lagos State, Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, on Monday received a delegation from the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria during a courtesy visit to her office at Lagos House, Ikeja.

The engagement focused on strengthening collaboration between the Institute and the Office of the First Lady in addressing critical public health challenges, including Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other infectious diseases across the state.
Discussions explored community-based interventions, awareness campaigns, and expanded access to testing and treatment services, especially among vulnerable populations. Both parties emphasized the importance of sustained advocacy and grassroots mobilization.
Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu reiterated her office’s commitment to championing health initiatives that protect families and promote early detection and prevention strategies. She highlighted the significance of partnerships in achieving measurable public health outcomes.
