A diaspora-based support group aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s reform agenda has launched an international operational structure aimed at strengthening collaboration between Nigerians abroad and the Federal Government.

The group, known as Renewed Hope Ambassadors Diaspora, formally inaugurated its global activities during a meeting held in the United Kingdom. The gathering brought together coordinators and representatives from Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia and Canada.

According to the organisers, the initiative is designed to promote structured diaspora participation in national development while spotlighting key policy milestones recorded under the current administration.

Operational Director Tayo Akinmade Ayinde described the project as a strategic platform intended to unify supporters across continents. He said the network would serve as a channel for communicating government achievements and mobilising Nigerians overseas toward constructive engagement with their home country.

Leadership members, including Tayo Shodeinde, outlined a roadmap focused on coordinated communication systems, volunteer mobilisation and harmonised continental activities. The Director of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Diaspora, Tunde Doherty, emphasised the importance of unity in projecting what he called measurable progress under President Tinubu.

Participants also discussed expanding grassroots outreach within diaspora communities and strengthening digital engagement to ensure consistent messaging. They agreed that collaboration with established Nigerian associations abroad would be central to achieving wider impact.

Speakers at the event stressed the need to promote accurate narratives about Nigeria’s economic and governance reforms, while encouraging professionals and entrepreneurs overseas to contribute skills, investments and expertise toward national growth.
