The Nigeria Diaspora Business Network has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, praising his administration’s performance in key sectors such as education, security, infrastructure, tourism, and employment generation.

Kenneth Etim, Director of Finance and acting Chairman of the network, clarified that the group is independent and not politically motivated. He stated, “Our mandate is to support good governance, not to chase political office.”

Etim emphasised that the network’s endorsement is performance-based. “We commend President Tinubu for his initiatives. But make no mistake, if the government fails the people, we will hold them accountable,” he said.

The group highlighted Tinubu’s reforms aimed at economic stability and effective governance, noting that his policies have strengthened fiscal discipline, promoted investment, and enhanced public service delivery.

On infrastructure, the diaspora group praised improvements in transportation, energy, and digital connectivity, pointing out that these developments have created opportunities for businesses and young Nigerians alike.

Etim also acknowledged the President’s commitment to social welfare, noting that targeted programmes are helping vulnerable citizens cope with economic adjustments and ensuring better access to essential services.

The network encouraged Nigerians abroad to engage with the country’s development agenda and support initiatives that drive transparency, accountability, and long-term national growth under Tinubu’s leadership.

A mega rally is scheduled in Calabar on April 4, 2026, to celebrate the administration’s achievements and mobilise public support for the continued development of Nigeria, reinforcing the diaspora’s backing for Tinubu’s second term bid.
