A diaspora-focused political advocacy group, Diaspora Network for Tinubu (DNT), has declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, citing confidence in the administration’s ongoing reforms and development agenda.

The organisation, which says it has members and representatives across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North America, and South America, announced plans to strengthen its presence in Nigeria through regional offices spread across the country’s six geopolitical zones.

Speaking on behalf of the group, International Coordinator Chukwuemeka Obielom said members believe the current administration is laying the foundation for long-term national growth and prosperity.

According to him, the reforms being implemented by the government are aimed at addressing structural challenges facing the country and should be viewed as long-term solutions rather than temporary relief measures.

Obielom stated that DNT’s primary objective is to support initiatives that promote national progress, particularly for young Nigerians and future generations. He added that the group would actively mobilise support for Tinubu’s second-term bid to ensure continuity in government policies.

The coordinator also disclosed that the organisation has established operational centres in several parts of Nigeria, including Lagos, Abuja, Anambra, Rivers, Kano, Sokoto, and Benue states. He noted that the offices would serve as coordination points for engagement with supporters and other interest groups.

He further called on eligible Nigerians to obtain and safeguard their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections, while encouraging both residents and members of the diaspora to participate in voter mobilisation and grassroots campaign activities. Obielom expressed optimism about the country's economic and infrastructure outlook, pointing to reforms in sectors such as energy and power as signs of ongoing progress.
