A real estate development firm, Rosefield Industries Limited, has commenced construction of a new residential estate in Abuja aimed at attracting Nigerians in the diaspora and other property investors seeking secure housing opportunities in the Federal Capital Territory.

The project, known as Maliyah Hills Estate, was officially unveiled during a groundbreaking ceremony attended by stakeholders in the housing and construction sectors.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the company, Muhammad Sani Sidi-Aliyu, described the development as a long-term investment initiative designed to provide a modern, secure, and sustainable residential environment for families and investors.

According to him, the increasing population growth and urban expansion in Abuja have created stronger demand for organised housing projects capable of combining quality infrastructure, affordability, and long-term value.

He noted that the estate is expected to contribute to the city’s growing real estate sector while creating opportunities for both local and international investors looking for reliable property investments in Nigeria.

Industry professionals present at the event also highlighted the rising interest in credible housing developments within Abuja’s expanding residential corridors.

Group Managing Director of Whetherheads Advertising, Abiodun Iderawumi, stated that the estate was designed to meet the expectations of working-class families seeking accessible and quality living environments.

On the construction aspect of the project, the Chief Executive Officer of Kamen Construction Limited, Dr. Edmund Oshioke, assured prospective investors that the development would be delivered using standard engineering practices and durable construction methods.

Also speaking, Chief Executive Officer of Hilvard Realty Limited, Moses Abah, said the estate holds strong appeal for Nigerians living abroad who are increasingly searching for trusted property investments back home.

He added that structured real estate developments are becoming a preferred option for diaspora investors looking to secure wealth and maintain long-term assets in Nigeria.
