No fewer than 800 Nigerian nationals have been returned from the Republic of Niger and received by authorities at the Jibia-Magama border in Katsina State, in a development that highlights ongoing migration and border control challenges within the region.
The deportees, made up of men, women, and children, reportedly arrived at the border in the early hours of Sunday in eight buses. Their return was coordinated through security channels, with officials on the ground ensuring an orderly reception process.
