
In a groundbreaking display of diplomacy, cultural unity, and female leadership, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, the 21st Olu of Warri, and Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III will host Senator Fanny Moussokoura Chantal, Deputy Senate President of Côte d’Ivoire and First Vice President of the ECOWAS Female Parliament Association (ECOFEPA).
The three-day visit, from January 23 to 25, 2025, marks a new chapter in strengthening regional ties, advancing gender empowerment, and fostering sustainable development in West Africa.
Speaking on the visit, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III said, “This represents a unique opportunity to celebrate our shared values, strengthen collaboration, and create meaningful dialogue for the betterment of our communities.”

1. Cultural Reception
The visit kicks off with a vibrant cultural reception at the airport, showcasing the rich heritage of the Warri Kingdom.
2. Women’s Town Hall Meeting
Day two will feature a Women’s Town Hall Meeting, hosted by His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, with Senator Chantal as the keynote speaker. The discussions will focus on women’s empowerment and sustainable development, with contributions from Delta State leaders, including Dr. Toyin Agbolayah and Hon. Commissioner Orode Uduaghan.
3. Environmental Sustainability
Senator Chantal will tour the Royal Iwere Foundation project site and participate in a tree-planting ceremony at the Orugbo Love Garden, symbolizing a joint commitment to environmental preservation.
4. Private Dinner
A private dinner hosted by Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III will close the second day, offering a platform for high-level dialogue and relationship building.
5. Regional Dialogue
The final day will center on strengthening ties between the Warri Kingdom and Côte d’Ivoire, with Senator Chantal bringing her expertise in promoting female leadership and regional collaboration.
