The United States government has inaugurated the Ogun Tech Hub Window on America, marking the 29th American Space established in Nigeria.

During the launch ceremony held in Abeokuta, Acting U.S. Consul General JoEllen Gorg described the initiative as a strategic move to strengthen ties between the U.S. and Nigeria through education, technology, and cultural engagement.

“We’re proud to collaborate with the Ogun State Government and GFA Technologies to open this new center. The Ogun Tech Hub Window on America will serve as a modern, innovation-driven platform for learning and collaboration, accessible to all residents of Ogun and neighboring states,” she stated.
Governor Dapo Abiodun hailed the development as a “gateway to endless opportunities,” emphasizing its role in boosting digital literacy, fostering innovation, and generating employment.

“This is more than just a facility it’s a realized vision. I call on all Ogun residents to fully engage with this center. It’s a democratized hub of global knowledge, connectivity, and empowerment,” Abiodun said.

Debo Omololu, Co-founder and CEO of GFA Technologies, praised the U.S. government for the partnership and expressed confidence in the hub’s potential to impact youth development positively.

“The Ogun Tech Hub proudly joins a global network of American Spaces. We are committed to providing advanced technology education that drives digital transformation,” Omololu noted.

The Window on America program will offer a wide range of programs, including employability workshops, digital skills training, and STEM-focused activities in artificial intelligence, robotics, and drone technology.
