Tinubu, Kessington Adebutu Honoured at London Leadership Forum

President Bola Tinubu and business magnate Chief Kessington Adebutu have been honoured with distinguished awards at the 2025 EuroKnowledge Leadership Forum held at the House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, London.
Tinubu received the Distinguished EuroKnowledge Leadership Award, presented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, who represented the President at the event.
According to EuroKnowledge Vice President, Kate Sovdagari, the award recognises Tinubu’s “transformational leadership, bold reforms, and commitment to repositioning Nigeria as a global investment destination.”
In his remarks, Idris described the recognition as a tribute to the President’s economic vision, which includes building a $1 trillion economy, bridging infrastructure gaps, promoting food security, and improving the welfare of citizens.
“Nigeria today is a vast construction site,” Idris stated. “Over ₦2.5 trillion worth of road infrastructure projects have been approved this year alone the highest in the country’s history.”
Also honoured at the event was Chief Kessington Adebutu, Chief Executive Officer of Premier Lotto Limited, who received the Distinguished EuroKnowledge Lifetime Achievement Award in Business and Philanthropy. The award was accepted on his behalf by Princess Aderemi Adebowale, National Programme Manager of the Renewed Hope Home-Grown School Feeding Programme, due to his 90th birthday celebration in Nigeria.
Other notable recipients included Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, CEO of Konga (Emerging Leadership in Digital Transformation), Dr. Stephen Akintayo, MD/CEO of GText Global Properties (Excellence in Real Estate Development), and Baroness Sandip Verma, former UK Cabinet member (Philanthropic Leadership & Community Advancement).
Additional honourees were former footballer Louis Saha, recognised for Sporting Excellence & Youth Empowerment, and the Mukul Madhav Foundation, for Humanitarian Service & Social Development.
Dignitaries at the event included Prof. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, First Lady of Kwara State; Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, DG of NAFDAC; Dr. Olasupo Olusi, MD of the Bank of Industry; and Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, DG of the Energy Commission of Nigeria.
The event’s co-convener and Chairperson of the Foreign Investment Network, Mrs. Olayinka Fayomi, commended Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for boosting investor confidence and promoting transparency in Nigeria’s economy.
