President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s resolve to reposition Nigeria’s economy, urging citizens to remain patient as reforms aimed at stabilising and strengthening key sectors continue to unfold.

The President gave the assurance on Monday during an official visit to Adamawa State, where he said recent policy decisions were designed to lay a solid foundation for long-term national growth.

He maintained that difficult economic measures undertaken by the Federal Government are beginning to produce measurable outcomes, particularly in education, healthcare delivery and infrastructure expansion.

According to him, adjustments in fiscal policies have enabled improved revenue distribution to states, giving governors greater capacity to execute development projects and address pressing local needs.

Tinubu stressed the importance of agricultural revitalisation and human capital investment, stating that national self-sufficiency in food production remains a priority of his administration.

During the visit, the President inaugurated major projects in the state, including an expanded highway corridor, a newly constructed underpass and a modern high court complex.

He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for deploying increased federal allocations toward visible development initiatives, especially in the education sector.

While acknowledging the economic strain faced by many Nigerians, Tinubu appealed for continued unity and patience, appreciating traditional and religious leaders for promoting peace. He also praised National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu for efforts to strengthen national security, as the state government reaffirmed support for ongoing federal reforms.
