Former United States Vice President, Kamala Harris, has announced that she will be in conversation with notable Nigerian diaspora author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, in London on Thursday as part of her ongoing 107 Days book tour.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Harris expressed her anticipation for the discussion.
“I look forward to being in conversation with Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie on Thursday as part of the London Literature Festival,” she wrote.
The London engagement is one of several stops on Harris’s international book tour promoting 107 Days, her newly released memoir that captures her political journey, personal reflections, and insights from her time in office.
According to reports, tickets for the London stop have already sold out, highlighting the high public interest in the event, which will feature two globally recognized women exploring themes of leadership, identity, and the power of storytelling in shaping political and cultural discourse.
Adichie, a celebrated diaspora writer known for her acclaimed works such as Half of a Yellow Sun, Americanah, and We Should All Be Feminists, has long been a leading voice on issues of gender, migration, and African identity. Her upcoming dialogue with Harris is one of the most anticipated sessions of the festival.
The event precedes Harris’s next European appearances as she continues her multi-city tour following the memoir’s release on September 23, 2025.
