Once payments are made, communication stops or the victims are sent into dangerous routes through the Sahara Desert or the Mediterranean Sea, where many lose their lives.

Within Africa, ECOWAS protocols allow free movement for employment and trade across member states.

Migration, when done legally and safely, can open doors to growth and opportunity. But when driven by desperation and handled through unverified agents, it becomes a path to exploitation and tragedy.
