Gov. Oyebanji Receives DG Nigerian Law School, Dr. Odusote

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has received the newly appointed Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Dr. Gbemisola Titilayo Odusote, alongside members of the institution’s management team, at his office in Ado-Ekiti.

Dr. Odusote, an indigene of Ekiti State, was appointed Director General of the Nigerian Law School two weeks ago, making history as the first female to head the prestigious institution since its establishment. Her appointment has been widely celebrated within and outside the legal community.
During the visit, Governor Oyebanji congratulated Dr. Odusote on her appointment, describing it as a proud moment for Ekiti State. He pledged the full support of the state government, assuring her of his administration’s commitment to her success and to initiatives that would further strengthen legal education in Nigeria.
The Governor noted that Dr. Odusote’s achievement reflects Ekiti’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence and intellectual leadership, adding that her emergence as DG would inspire young people, especially women, to aspire to leadership roles in the legal profession.

Dr. Odusote expressed gratitude to Governor Oyebanji for his support and encouragement. She explained that the visit was to formally thank the Governor and to seek the continued backing of the Ekiti State Government as she assumes leadership of the Nigerian Law School and works towards advancing its mandate.
