FG, National Assembly Reaffirm Commitment to Peaceful Nigeria

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has reaffirmed the commitment of the Federal Government and the National Assembly to restoring peace and security across Nigeria.

Akpabio made the statement during the Armed Forces Remembrance Day inter-denominational service held in Abuja.

He said the sacrifices of fallen heroes strengthen the government’s resolve to build a safer and more united nation.

The Senate President also highlighted Nigeria’s diversity, stressing the need for tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence.

According to him, sustaining peace is essential for national progress and the well-being of future generations.
