The Federal Government has approved uniform sale prices for housing units under the Renewed Hope Estate Programme across all states of the federation.
The announcement was made in Abuja through a statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Badamasi Haiba.
According to the statement, the approved prices are as follows:
One-bedroom semi-detached bungalow: ₦8.5 million
Two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow: ₦11.5 million
Three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow: ₦12.5 million
The Ministry said the decision to adopt uniform prices nationwide was aimed at promoting affordability, fairness, and transparency in the federal housing scheme, ensuring that Nigerians from all regions have equal access to affordable housing.
Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, explained that the Renewed Hope Housing Programme was designed to make homeownership accessible to low- and middle-income earners, civil servants, and members of the organised private sector with verifiable sources of income. He added that Nigerians in the Diaspora who wish to own homes in the country would also benefit.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, disclosed that the government has provided flexible payment options to enhance affordability. These include outright payment, mortgage financing, rent-to-own, and installment plans.
Belgore further noted that the sale of completed housing units across the northern and southern regions will begin soon. Interested applicants can apply online through the Ministry’s housing portal at www.renewedhopehomes.fmhud.gov.ng, or obtain application forms from the Ministry’s headquarters and state field offices.
The Renewed Hope Housing Programme, launched under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, seeks to address Nigeria’s housing deficit by promoting inclusive homeownership and stimulating the construction sector across the country.
