Epe LG Chair Boosts APC E-Registration with Donation of Generators, Printers

The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Princess Surah Animashaun, has donated functional generators and high-capacity printers to all wards within the council to support the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration exercise.

The donation is aimed at ensuring a smooth, efficient, and hitch-free registration process for party members, particularly at the grassroots level. The intervention is expected to address logistical challenges that could hinder timely documentation during the exercise.

Speaking on the initiative, Animashaun explained that the donation became necessary due to persistent power supply challenges across the local government area, which could disrupt the production of APC membership identity cards.

According to a statement made available to PUNCH Online on Thursday, the council chairman said the equipment would significantly improve efficiency and encourage wider participation among party members during the ongoing e-registration exercise.

She added that the move was also intended to complement the achievements of the APC-led government at the federal, state, and local government levels, expressing confidence that President Bola Tinubu’s administration would record even greater successes if re-elected in 2027.
