Ekiti Hails FG's health Fellows Initiative, Pledges Better Healthcare

The Ekiti State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to revolutionizing healthcare delivery, specifically focusing on the well-being of women and children. The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, announced that the state is prepared to expand access to quality medical services and sustain recent progress in the sector. ​Dr. Filani highlighted that a key priority for the administration is the completion of ongoing infrastructure projects across various healthcare facilities in the state. In a boost to local capacity, Ekiti State is partnering with the Federal Government on the National Health Fellows initiative. This program is designed to enhance service delivery by injecting fresh talent and expertise into the health sector. During a recent interview session in Ado Ekiti, the state prepared to select 16 fellows, ensuring that every local government area in the state benefits from this strategic injection of manpower.
