Two Nigerian-Americans have appointed as advisors in the United States by President Joe Biden.
These individuals are among the 12 members appointed to the President’s Advisory Council on African Diaspora Engagement in the United States.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), congratulated them, highlighting that their appointments serve as inspiration for Nigerians and Africans at large.
She expressed her enthusiasm for the nomination of these outstanding Nigerians to the advisory council.
Chinenye Ogwumike, a two-time WNBA All-Star with the Los Angeles Sparks, and a prominent ESPN commentator and NBA analyst, is known for her unique dual roles in professional sports and national sports media. She is a proud Nigerian-American graduate of Stanford University.
Osagie Imasogie, Chairman of Quoin Capital and Quoin Advisors, has a substantial background in investment banking and private equity, particularly in the life sciences sector, having co-founded PIPV Capital, which has invested over $1 billion in this industry.
He also played a crucial role in establishing GlaxoSmithKline Ventures.
