Meet newly appointed the special adviser on global health security and diplomacy, USA.



Osagie Imasogie is a Nigerian-American entrepreneur, investor, lawyer, and academic.


He has over 35 years of experience in the fields of law, finance and business management, healthcare, and the pharmaceutical industry.


He is the senior managing partner and co-founder of PIPV Capital, a private equity firm focused on the life sciences sector. He is also the chairman of Quoin Capital, an investment bank and broker-dealer. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he teaches a seminar on intellectual property and national economic value creation. He is also the chair of the Law School’s Board of Overseers and a member of the University’s Board of Trustees.


He has been appointed by President Joe Biden as a special adviser on global health security and diplomacy.


He has co-founded and led several successful companies in the pharmaceutical industry, such as Iroko Pharmaceuticals, iCeutica, Ception Therapeutics, and Trigenesis Therapeutics. He is a recipient of the Penn Carey Law Alumni Award of Merit and a supporter of cross-disciplinary scholarship and education at Penn.


He is also a civic leader and a board member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Osagie Imasogie is a remarkable person who has made significant contributions to various fields and communities.
