US Chamber Of Commerce Invites President Tinubu To NASDAQ

The United States Chamber of Commerce has extended an invitation to President Bola Tinubu to participate in the NASDAQ closing bell-ringing ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, September 20. NASDAQ, an acronym for the National Association of Securities Dealers, is a well-known stock exchange situated in New York City. It ranks as the second-largest stock trading venue in the United States by market capitalization, trailing behind the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and is renowned for its high trading volume.

Ringing the closing bell at NASDAQ signifies the end of a trading day. The US Chamber of Commerce made the announcement on Monday, highlighting that this event will coincide with the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). They underscored the significance of this ceremony in representing the economic ties between the United States and Nigeria.

The ceremony will take place at the NASDAQ headquarters in New York. The Chamber expressed optimism that this celebration and the discussions during the U.S.-Nigeria Executive Business Dialogue will further solidify economic bonds and encourage collaboration between American and Nigerian business communities.

The US Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business organization, representing a wide spectrum of companies across different sectors of the economy, ranging from small businesses and local chambers of commerce to prominent industry associations and large corporations.
