Former Nigerian Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Takes Helm as Chair of Climate Action Platform for Africa (CAP-A) Board of Directors.
In a string of international appointments, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, renowned Professor of Law, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Climate Action Platform for Africa (CAP-A). This follows his recent assignment as Global Advisor for The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet.
The announcement of Professor Osinbajo's appointment was made by CAP-A Founder James Mwangi, who expressed deep honor in having him lead the CAP-A Board of Directors.
Mwangi stated, "We are deeply honored to have Prof Osinbajo join the CAP-A Board of Directors as Chair to assist with the next phase of our growth and our mission of unlocking Africa’s potential as a global hub for climate action. His vast experience and passion for transforming African countries’ economies in harmony with climatic needs will be invaluable to CAP-A’s mission, especially coming out of the inaugural Africa Climate Summit that made a strong push for accelerated climate action."
