Nigerians in the diaspora, under the banner of the Tinubu Ambo Support Group (TASG), have publicly announced their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re‑election campaign for 2027, applauding his administration’s economic reforms and urging greater diaspora voter participation.

The group’s Diaspora Director, Kelvin Muyiwa, spoke at a solidarity meeting in England, highlighting the role of Nigerians overseas in shaping the country’s future.

Muyiwa praised Tinubu’s “visionary leadership,” noting that despite early challenges, the president has remained focused on repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth through reforms in infrastructure, power, and industry.

The group also called on Nigerians at home to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), emphasizing that active electoral participation is essential for strengthening democracy and promoting national development. “The power to decide the future of our country lies in our hands,” Muyiwa said.

In addition to backing Tinubu’s second‑term ambitions, TASG reaffirmed its support for Akinwunmi Ambode, former governor of Lagos State, for a 2027 run. Muyiwa described Ambode’s first tenure as “a benchmark in good governance, urban renewal, and people‑oriented leadership,” noting that his return would further accelerate Lagos’s development.
