The Kenyan government has issued a security advisory for its citizens living in or planning to travel to the Middle East, following escalating regional tensions. Authorities are urging heightened vigilance and careful monitoring of developments
Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary Roseline Njogu emphasized that the situation in the region is fluid and could change rapidly. She called on Kenyan nationals to avoid non-essential travel and to stay away from areas where security operations are ongoing or may occur.
PS Njogu reminded Kenyans to ensure they are registered with the nearest Kenyan Embassy or Consulate. She also advised updating contact information, next-of-kin details, and emergency contacts to facilitate rapid support if needed.
Citizens are encouraged to strictly follow instructions issued by host governments and local security agencies. Official communication channels should be used for reliable updates, and informal sources should be treated with caution.

In response to the evolving situation, Kenya Airways has suspended flights to Dubai following the temporary closure of UAE airspace. The government continues to monitor events closely and has reassured citizens that support measures remain in place.
