Chinedu Echeruo is a Nigerian-born serial entrepreneur, investor, and thought leader renowned for pioneering technology solutions and shaping entrepreneurial ecosystems globally. As an Unreasonable Mentor, he has participated in multiple programs, including Unreasonable Impact Americas 2022, advising over 40 startups on scaling strategies, operational efficiency, and global market entry.

In 2005, Chinedu co-founded HopStop, a revolutionary travel app that simplified urban public transportation navigation for millions of users across major cities worldwide. The app’s success drew the attention of Apple, which acquired HopStop in 2013 and incorporated its functionality into Apple Maps, transforming the way millions navigate cities. He also founded Tripology, a travel-focused lead-generation and referral platform, which was later acquired by Rand McNally and is now part of USA Today’s portfolio. Chinedu is the inventor of US Patent 7,957,871, covering innovative methods for urban navigation.

Beyond technology, Chinedu has a strong financial and investment background. He was a core member of AM Investment Partners, a $500 million hedge fund specializing in convertible bond arbitrage. Prior to that, he worked in Mergers & Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance at J.P. Morgan Chase, executing complex transactions in private equity, financing, and corporate restructuring.
