A delegation of the City Boy Movement (CBM) has intensified efforts to mobilise Nigerians in the diaspora, particularly in the United Kingdom, in support of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group, which includes North Central Zonal Youth Coordinator Suleiman Abubakar Magaji, is focused on strengthening ties with Nigerians abroad while promoting awareness of the administration’s policies and reform agenda.
Magaji described diaspora engagement as a vital political tool for encouraging participation, fostering unity, and building grassroots support beyond Nigeria’s borders.
The delegation also featured prominent figures such as CBM Patron Seyi Tinubu, Director-General Francis Shoga, and Diaspora Coordinator Bidemi Akintunde, alongside entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest.
During their visit, the team held strategic meetings with diaspora communities, aimed at deepening political awareness, encouraging civic involvement, and establishing long-term support structures.
According to Magaji, the initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance youth inclusion, strengthen international partnerships, and promote Nigeria’s global image through diaspora collaboration.
