Grammy-winning singer Beyoncé has officially joined the ranks of billionaire musicians, Forbes reports, following a year of unprecedented commercial success driven by her latest album, global tours, and business ventures. At 44, she becomes the fifth musician to reach the milestone, alongside Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.
Beyoncé’s ascent to billionaire status was fueled by the blockbuster Cowboy Carter Tour in 2025, which grossed over $400 million in ticket sales and an estimated $50 million from merchandise. Combined with earnings from her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which generated nearly $600 million, and her various business interests, she earned an estimated $148 million before taxes in 2025, ranking her among the highest-paid musicians globally.
Much of her wealth is attributed to Parkwood Entertainment, the company she founded in 2010, which allows her to manage and produce her music, films, and tours independently. Beyoncé has consistently emphasized the importance of controlling her career, stating she wanted to follow the footsteps of iconic performers like Madonna.
Beyond music, Beyoncé’s ventures include her haircare brand Cécred, whiskey label SirDavis, and her former clothing line Ivy Park. Nonetheless, Forbes notes that her music, particularly her stadium tours and ownership of her catalogue, remains the primary driver of her fortune.
The Cowboy Carter Tour featured large-scale productions and a mini-residency model across nine stadiums in the US and Europe, enabling 32 shows with reduced logistical costs. Beyoncé also earned substantial revenue from a Netflix Christmas Day NFL halftime show and endorsement deals, including a reported $10 million Levi’s campaign.
Despite a decline in album-equivalent sales compared to some peers in 2025, Beyoncé’s ability to sell out stadiums continues to set her apart in an industry increasingly reliant on touring as the main source of revenue.
Looking ahead, Beyoncé has hinted at a more selective touring schedule to prioritize her family, while continuing her creative trilogy that began with Renaissance and Cowboy Carter.
