Mr. Abubakar Momoh, the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, highlighted the significant importance of youth development and empowerment within President Bola Tinubu's transformation agenda.
The minister mentioned that the ministry's empowerment program for Niger Delta youths will greatly improve their lives. He assured that the empowerment scheme will specifically cater to the youths in the nine states of the Niger Delta. The minister shared these remarks during a visit to the Deji of Akure in Ondo State.
The minister guaranteed that the current administration led by President Bola Tinubu will implement numerous beneficial initiatives in the Niger Delta. Additionally, he pledged to ensure that contractors operating in the region deliver high-quality employment opportunities.
Momoh emphasized that their aim is to ensure the delivery of top-notch projects in the Niger Delta. They are committed to constructing roads that meet the highest standards and specifications, ensuring long-lasting infrastructure.
“By the time we start to execute our empowerment programme, the youths will be happy. We will do some positive things. In the next four years, Nigeria will be transformed. The President takes the security of lives and property seriously.
In response, Oba Aladelusi praised President Tinubu for his dedication to revitalizing the country's economy. The Deji of Akure expressed his commitment to supporting the Federal Government in completing ongoing projects and initiating new ones.
