Nigerian-Born Texas Prison Guard Arrested for Allegedly Fleeing Accident Scene

A Nigerian-born correctional officer working in the United States has been arrested in Texas after allegedly leaving the scene of a traffic accident without providing the required information to authorities. The suspect, identified as Ayodele Abiodun Afosi, was reportedly taken into custody following investigations into the incident.
According to reports from law enforcement officials, the accident resulted in property damage estimated at more than $200. Authorities alleged that Afosi failed to stop after the crash, an action considered a violation of Texas traffic laws governing motorists involved in accidents.
After his arrest, Afosi was booked into the Walker County Jail in Texas. Officials confirmed that a bond of $3,000 was set pending further legal proceedings. Additional details regarding the exact location and circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately made public.
