Man City Beat Nottingham Forest Despite Rodri’s Red Card

Man City had to hold on tight after Rodri's red card, but they managed to maintain their flawless start to the Premier League season. With early goals from Foden and Haaland, they were cruising, but everything changed just 27 seconds into the second half. What a thrilling match!

Rodri's actions were unacceptable, and he received a straight red card for putting his hands around Gibbs-White's throat. The referee's decision was upheld by VAR. Until that point, Forest had been outplayed by City, who scored two goals within the first 15 minutes with some impressive attacks down the right.

Walker played a fantastic pass to Foden, who confidently finished City's first goal. Then, Nunes delivered a cross from the same side, allowing Haaland to score with a powerful header. What a team effort!

The second half was a whole new ball game. City had to really fight to hold onto their lead, but they did a great job of keeping Forest at bay. They managed to keep them at a distance for the most part.

The visitors struggled to create clear scoring opportunities. Mangala had a shot that went over the goal, and Awoniyi missed from close range. Ederson made a crucial save to deny Elanga towards the end.

As the match neared its end, tensions remained high. Guardiola and the home fans expressed their dissatisfaction with Taylor's decisions. However, City managed to maintain their lead and secure the victory.
